Hey people! ‘Ben 10′ Shorts is the name of a series, of nearly two minute long videos, which were a part of Cartoon Network’s video hosting service, and were included in the DVDs as extras. The no. of total videos was eight, with each having a unique name and storyline. The very first video was entitled ‘Hijacked’ in which we saw two men trying to hijack the Rustbucket when Grandpa Max was not near. Luckily, Ben was there on the Rustbucket and he dealt with the situation successfully.

And, the next video entitled, ‘Snack Break’, showed Ben and Gwen trying to get something from the vending machine. The required snack didn’t come out but Ben was ready with his alternative plans. Other videos in the series were Survival Skills, Radio Dazed, Sleepaway Camper, Dogged Pursuit, Let The Games Begin and Handle With Care. Ben 10 has secured a strong fan base throughout the world, with its innumerous releases. Hey everyone! It has been so long since the final episode of the fourth season of our favorite cartoon series Ben 10 was aired. Since that time we have been frantically waiting for the beginning of the new season. But so far there has been neither any announcement nor any indication as to when the fifth season of the series is going to start. With each passing day, my fears about the series having been cancelled seem to grow stronger. I just wish and pray that my fear turns out to be false and we soon learn about the revival of the fifth season.

I just don’t understand why it always happens to my most loved shows. If the ratings are the criteria for the cancellation or continuation of a series, then I feel that Ben 10 deserves to continue airing for many more years. It has been an instant success from the very first day of its airing and I believe that all the fans are eagerly waiting for the start of another thrilling and adventurous season.

The series is different from other cartoon series because it uses concept that has never even been thought of before. It tells the tale of an average teenage kid Ben who can turn himself into ten different alien forms with the help of a special device Omnitrix. The creator’s genius needs to be applauded as he thought of something which has changed the way we look at superheroes. It is the only series where not one or two or three but ten different superheroes emerge from a normal looking boy who wears a peculiar device on his wrist. Perhaps that is the reason behind the show reaching such great heights of popularity, as we were able to see multiple superheroes help save the Earth but they all emerged from one boy named BEN.

Anyways, I want the Omnitrix so that I too could transform into different aliens in different situations. Imagine I can fly, I can swim, I can have great brains and even I can run faster than air. Above all I can travel in time. My life will become cool. Who would like to resist such life?

I just wonder about the brains who have created this idea of Omnitrix containing so many aliens. These are simply meant to overcome one’s shortcomings. If you are slow then bring on “XLR8″. What about “Ripjaws” instead of scuba diving. No need for oxygen mask on your face. Feel the water on your skin. Isn’t this amazing?

I would equally love to become “Grey Matter”, the five inches tall alien, whenever I would like to dismantle my friend’s new play station or cell phone, before that boggles my mind with jealous.
